Are you thinking of buying a piano? The Piano House has a wide variety of models and brands. We are dedicated to helping customers find the perfect piano. The Piano House is also available for piano moving, piano restoration, piano tuning. Do you need a piano for an event? We can rent you one. We can also provide instruments for long term rental.
We are also a private music school that provides affordable and quality music education. We offer a variety of instruction: piano, guitar, flute, saxaphone, and clarinet. We care greatly about high-quality instruction and that is why we only hire certified professional music instructors to deliver the lessons. We have recently started online music classes and It is our goal to provide a high level of music instruction to our online students.
Our Philosophy
The Piano House believes that all persons can enjoy playing a musical instrument and find it rewarding.
We also acknowledge that the piano has proven to be a wonderful instrument for musical expression, since it originated more than two centuries ago.
We wish to provide musical instruments, and the piano in particular, to as many persons as possible. We are also engaged in the teaching of music and the promoting of musical events.
Our History
The Piano House grew out of a family-owned business, Brown's Drug Store, which existed from 1946 to 1996 at 43 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10. In addition to pharmaceuticals the owners decided in 1983 to sell pianos and second hand books. When the sale of pharmaceuticals was discontinued in 1996 the selling of pianos and books was continued under separate businesses, The Piano House and Books Plus. Both businesses continue to function at the original location.
